WAYS TO PROTECT OUR ENVIRONMENT Switch off anything that uses electricity when not in use. Unplug devices when possible.  Trade in your dryer for a good old-fashioned clothesline. Run your air conditioner sparingly or not at all. Close the heating and air conditioning vents in your home. Don't use electronic exercise machines. Use a warm blanket or sweater in winter. Conserve water.  Recycle all you can. Avoid excess packaging. Don't waste food. Use reusable bottles for water.
